I got my settlement check today!! Apparently once they've come to an agreement, they really know how to move. So now it's finally over, after 6 years!! My bank said it will take about 6 business days before they release my funds (standard policy for large amount checks) but I don't have a problem with waiting another week to clear my debts and all that.

I feel like so many things have opened up for me now. It's such a great feeling.
